Bio
Ria Ipa is a full-time musician based in the tri-state area, with a profound passion for classical voice. She earned her Bachelor of Music Degree in classical voice from the Manhattan School of Music under the tutelage of Neil Rosenshein. Her versatile and expansive repertoire includes everything from jazz, musical theatre, sacred, cross-over, and of course opera. Ria made her Carnegie debut last December in Handel's Messiah, and embarked on her first Europian Tour this summer where she performed in Vienna and Zurich. She recently accepted the position of Choral/Director of Sacred Music at St. Bridget Church, and holds a teaching artist position with Intempo, an organization dedicated to providing high-quality music education to children from predominantly immigrant backgrounds and communities underrepresented in the arts.
She was formerly a featured soloist with the Mendelssohn Choir of Connecticut, has amassed an ever-growing following on various social media platforms for her voice, and is featured in Victory Hall Opera’s “YAPs Documentary” released in May of 2025. Previous projects include recording with multi Emmy and Grammy award-winning music producer Brian Keane for Arti Dixson’s humanitarian foundation “HOPE” (Help Our People Eat). In 2023 Ria also received a nomination for a CT Broadway World Award for her performance as Susannah Cibber in Joyful Noise at the Power House Theatre in New Canaan.
